How are Rennes doing in the French league so far? The Rennais’ performance is pretty good. They are 4th in the standings with 34 points and they are chasing a place in the Champions League. The head coach Bruno Genesio deserves compliments for the way he prepared the team for the campaign.

Rennes finished their last game with 9 men on the pitch. Bourigeaud and Omari were sent off against Clermont Foot so they won’t be playing against PSG.

Jeremy Doku remains one of Rennes’ most dangerous players. The Belgian international will be a threat for PSG’s defense.

PSG lead the Ligue 1 standings with 47 points won. The reigning champions lost just one match since the beginning of the season. But they got back on the winning road a few days ago. The Parisians hosted Angers and took the three points – 2-0. Hugo Ekitike opened the score while Lionel Messi scored his first goal after winning the World Cup. Nordi Mukiele assisted for both of PSG’s goals.

Kylian Mbappe missed the game against Angers, but he could be back for the visit to Rennes. He remains PSG’s top scorer with 13 goals in the Ligue 1. Neymar follows with 11 goals for the 2022/23 campaign.
